Steps to minimise Coronoavirus disruption

Mar 19, 2020

We are continuing to take steps to limit the impact of the coronavirus on our services whilst protecting our members and staff.

Managing your credit union accounts

We strongly recommend members use 24/7 online banking and automated telephone banking to check account balances, recent account activity, and to make payments. These services are free and you can register online.

Our current accounts, including our free Bronze option, mean you can send payments online that reach recipients almost instantly.

If you are concerned that you may not be able to visit us in branch to make cash withdrawals, our Debit Mastercard can be used to withdraw cash at ATMs or to pay for goods in-store or online. This is a paid-for product.

Applying for a loan

We are continuing to process new loan applications and requests for loan top-ups, but you may experience longer wait times than usual for a decision.

Keeping our branches open

We are committed to doing all we can to offer a full service in branch. Our branch in Poplar has been closed this week as a precautionary measure but reopened on Monday 23rd March [updated].

If you visit us in branch we kindly request that you follow the general hygiene guidelines and advice from staff. Our staff are taking extra precautions to keep themselves safe and we have increased cleaning in high contact areas in the banking halls.

Keeping up to date

We know things are changing all the time. We are closely following developments and will act on the latest advice given by the Government and Public Health England.

We will publish regular updates on our response to Coronavirus on these pages. Please check this regularly or visit our page on Facebook.

We thank you for your ongoing support and co-operation.
