Coronavirus Support Request
We know members may struggle to make loan repayments due to the impact of Coronavirus. If you have an outstanding credit union loan and you are having difficulty in meeting your repayment obligations we may be able to help you.
Please read the following information before applying for support.
The support we offer may be in the form of a short-term payment holiday or a reschedule to lower your repayments. Please consider carefully whether this is right for you – both options will mean you end up paying additional interest on your loan in the long run.
Is your request for support a result of the impact of Coronavirus?
Before you apply we will ask you to ensure you have pursued support through any of the following measures, if applicable:
- speaking to your employer about any changes to your earnings, eg. through furlough.
- speaking to your mortgage lender about a repayment break.
- confirming social security payments for which you are eligible.
